I am an inexperienced cook (typical inept bachelor)

Recently I bought a slow cooker and I love simple recipes. Make Pork with cranberry sauce which is literally put pork in and add cranberry jelly and cook for 5 hours on high! And it s delicious

Howewver I would like variations on that theme. I love pepper so a sauce with lots of pepper would be good.

I like mushroom sauces (dunni how to make them ) would mushroom sauce complement pork?

I love meat with gorgeous thich grave (like roast beef gravy) so a nice gravy sauce would be good

What I am talking about is when I season and sear the joint and I chuck it in the slow cooker I d like sauces to pour over for the pork duration of the cooking process

I d like the sauce to end up being thick and creamy but not to dry out or to be too liquidy

I don t ask for much, do I!!?? LOL
