I have this little mouse called jasper, and is about half a year old. He love to come out of his cage and he is really energetic, except lately i found if I stroke him gently along the jawline (between his ear and eye following the angle of his chin) he just stops all of a sudden and sits there and doesnt move, and then when I stop he just kinda of wakes up and continues running around like nothing ever happened. I am unsure as to whether this is because he really loves to be scratched there, or if this is some kind of hypnotism? and whether its just my mouse that does this or if other peoples mice do too? if you have an answer, please share, and if you have mice try this on them and tell me if they do the same thing? ok thanks…
but its really weird as soon as you troke him there, even if he is positioned on a steep slope, he wont try and scramble back as usual, he will just stop! seriously, TRY IT ON YOUR MICE!

I have persistent anxious thoughts about the same things involving my relationship and relationships in general (like whether or not I will ever get married) and my therapist is a certified hypnotist as well. I figure it cant hurt to try it, seeing as Ive tried everything else to become less needy and dependant, and anxious, including medication. Ive heard multiple things about hypnosis. Does it actually work?

A friend of mine had a freaky hypnotism experience at a magic show last night, and i was wondering if anyone could explain how the trick worked - apparently its quite a common one.

It worked like this…

The hypnotist / magician asked for a couple to volunteer from the audience and come on stage. My buddy and his girlfriend volunteered and were chosen from an audience of about 200. They went up on stage and were told to stand opposite each other and place a hand on each others shoulder while looking deeply into each others eyes and breathing deeply. They were then told to sit on chairs at opposite ends of the stage.

My friend was then given a piece of paper by the magician and told to read it to himself (not out loud) 20 times and told what was said on the paper would happen.

The piece of paper said…

“walk over to me and shout I love you”.

15 seconds later his girlfriend gets up, walks over to him, and shouts “I love you”. Totally hypnotised. How does this work please?

my mom wants me to quit my search to learn about hypnotism. she thinks that its a form of taking over the soul, or giving your soul to another. she also finds it along the lines of witchcraft, which she is completely against. i personally have no idea where to go. i believe that is just a way to give suggestions to a highly suggestable unconscience mind. if i tell them to destroy their religion, or get another one, they will wake up because it goes against their ethics. i just want to know for sure. is there a verse out there that speaks against this stuff in the bible or something?

first of all is hypnosis really real? can anyone be hypnotized by a professional? and can anyonee perform hypnotism, or do you have to have training?…. i really want my boyfriend to stop smoking.. and he wants to stopp too.. i was wondering if i could hypnotize him into stop smoking.. even though he could by stuff to help him quite.. i wanna try hypnotizing him first. sounds crazy i know. any good suggestions on how to do it? or any websites?
