Heard there is a case going on banning american CFA from conducting exams in INDIA.. If it can be done please state the procedure.

I am from Law background and intend to add Finance background to my career. Kindly post your views regarding your views on the CFA charter offered by ICFAI. How would it help build a good career? and How well is it recognised in the corporate world?

I have only completed my Higher Secondschool(10 + 2 years).That means I don t have a Bachelor s Degree.But I do have 7 year s work experience.So my work experience can be considered ?

Out of the 7 year s work experience 2 years were in the a Brokerage House in India.It was not a Research based job,but different work like taking orders from clients for their trades, watching the market for Index movments, doing some technical analysis.I had enjoyed my work there.My boss who was the Sr.Broker & owner of the firm used to do both Fundamental & Technical analysis.

Watching him spending long hours reading company reports & then picking a winner, I also got interested in the research part of Asset Management.Only problem was he was highly qualified & experienced in the field & I was not.
CFA has mentioned a U.S. bachelor s degree.As I am from India will an Indian Degree be sufficient for entry requirements ? I mean I have 7 year s work experience.So can t I start the CFA Program ?

i am frm engg background and working into IT as software developer in finance domain, i want to pursue CFA.kindly provide me the details, can i apply for it from india or nepal while working in india, where can i find cheap books for the preparations and the classes for it in mumbai.

currently I am Armed with BBA (regular I.P university) and MBA(finance) from IMT and I am working with American heavy brand as an analyst well in order to enahance my credibility in the market I want to ask which will give more edge to me CPA , CA,CFA(please do advise from which Body i get my registration done) or if you can suggest any other option I would really appreciate and welcome that.I want to build my careear in finance only.I forgot to mention I am 24 year old so please consider my age before suggesting best suited option for me.Looking forward for hearing from you soon.
