It was difficult for me to manuveour the car because of a wall they had in between the building and parallel testing area. I accidently bumped one of those long cones and failed. I was wondering if there are any locations that might be easier then the one at south mountain?

I have car which I am making payments on, my sister is going to be giving me her truck, so I am not going to need my car anymore. I was thinking at first to let it get repossessed, but it seriously mess with your credit. My pay off quote is 12,847.00, I was wondering if it get repossessed is it off the pay off quote or something else. I was also thinking if I sell it than try to pay off what is left of it on my own will that work?. Or even if I pass the car off to someone else they take the payments for the car can it be put in their name, and my name no longer on the car?

Mine was today i was at the local shops and someone had a broken horn and i got distracted when i was parking and parked over someone elses carspace.
I had the raised pavement on the other side so i was stuck and the older lady came out and sighed at me and told me not to dare move and she will have to back her car out. (She started to get in to the passangers side) and then a really nice man as there normally always are asked me if i was alright and helped me to get out by telling me which way to turn the wheel…i could of died…what about you guys?

I am thinking of getting a cruiser like the Honda Shadow. I m going to buy it and take the license test and then safety lessons. I m just curious to know if street bike are overall safer for a beginner or if a cruiser is? Like stability wise, could I handle a cruiser better than a street bike, or are they the same?

ok so one day I m driving on a rainy day and I accidently hit a pot hole at around 40 mph. After I hit I notice that my car is moving while the right by itself while
I m driving. So I get off and check the car and noticed that my right-front tire has been popped so I change it then I notice that the car is now moving to the left by itself while I m driving this has been going on since last thursday. my car has lost all traces of its original, new-car smell provided that it is 6 years old. i know some people who get aggravated by this scent (asthma, breathing sensitivity/complications, etc.), but i personally love the smell of a new car, especially if it comes with cloth seats (the smell of leather seats bothers me more so, and i cant stand entering a store selling leather jackets). where can i find an air freshener that can mimic the new car smell i love so much, or something close to that would be fine, too. i laugh at those cheesy, cheap-looking, christmas-tree things people dangle from their rear-view mirrors. ive seen the ones that clip onto the air-vents which can be adjusted accordingly by the preset settings via a switch to activate a small fan, or to adjust the amount of “scent” to be emitted from the thing. my car, however, has the circular-type/shaped air- vent openings with the “flaps” through which my air-conditioning comes through. the clip-on fresheners are useless!!

I m sure nearly all a car owners have had some hefty penalty asked for for very minor, trivial issues when parking.

To qoute a couple of personal examples, Visting freinds in Chiswick, the parking outside on a single yellow was OK from 6pm to 8am.
I went out at what I accuratly made to be just before 8 to find some official with their watch set to purposfully the wrong time trying to write out a ticket

I dropped off some paperwork at Charing Cross station, and asked the bloke at the back of the taxi rank if anyone would mind. No problems.

Returning about 4mins later, the car had gone.
I rang the police to report a stolen vehicle, and they said “oh no, we have got it in the pound.”
It cost nearly £200 to get on a bus to the Elephant & Castle pound to get it back.

Theft by the traffic police. Rediculous.

Do you have any other daft examples of silly enforcement of silly rules when parking harmlessly?

My car remain static for more than a week due to battery went flat. As I changed a new battery but my car stereo completely stopped working after or might have died before that. Actually, it is blank except a kind of number has been counting down. I have code number but the set does not give my any option to input it. Could some one suggest me how to fix it.

Alright… Well the car usually runs very well. It s got 162,000 miles on it, has a newly redone head, new ignition coil, spark plugs, wires, the works…… I actually just bought it yesterday. The guy I bought it from said he had some problems…like it would run rough then die and not want to start back up. He said this happend before all the work was done on it… The first day it ran pretty well….I drove for quite a while…. after I got off work I started it and it started with a little bit of hesitation…. then the rpm was bouncing from like 400 to 800 rpm or so with the engine running really rough and kinda was almost like it was running smooth then rough with the rpm change…. I stepped on the gas and got almost no response at all then slowly the rpm got back up then it acted fine… a few seconds later it did the same thing but not as bad…so I stepped on the gas and it was alright again. It acted fine all day today….any ideas?
