I dont watch the news and ignore the papers, and the world I live in is very good with no trouble at all.

I live in an English City and always notice how paranoid people are. I think there is no basis for this paranoia other than what people read in papers or watch on the news and assume that this is something they should be anxious about.

Recently on Breaking Christian News, we published a news story, which has been carried by several major media outlets since then, about Val Thomas—a woman who was brain-dead and who, against all medical odds, has returned to life.
It was only after that story was published that I was able to obtain additional information on that situation, which gives even more glory to God. In fact, three people were saved in Vals family alone, because of her resurrection. The following is that report from a member of Vals church:
“…the story is true. In fact, the lady (Val Thomas) was in the hospital; brain dead. They had already called the funeral home. The family had three relatives that were not saved. Two family members told God if He would allow her to live, they would give their life to God. The other was Vals 70-year-old brother who had already left the hospital after she died. When they took her off life support, and after she woke up, she wanted to know where her son was. So they phoned the brother to come back to the hospital, and he hit his knees and gave his life to Christ too. The testimony was given Sunday morning at church and thats when the anointing broke out.”
As we mentioned in our first report, a fact often left out of major media stories about Val Thomas healing, is that the whole thing happened shortly after one of the church members had visited the Florida Healing Outpouring meetings in Lakeland, and upon returning, prayed for the same outpouring of God to break out in their own church (which happened to be Vals).
It occurred to me that some of our BCN readers may not be familiar with “revival meetings,” and how God often moves in them, or how they are sometimes “contagious-by-the-Spirit,” and similar moves-of-God seem to pop up in other areas—an “anointing” seemingly carried by people who come to a meeting, are touched by God in some way, and bring that “fire” back with them to their own fellowship. Some may be inclined to be skeptical, something I also battle at times. However, Jesus said that a tree is known by its fruit. (Matt. 7:15-20) Thats why I was excited to hear of such fabulous fruit resulting from visiting the meetings in Florida—healing, salvations. Even in just a purely practical way, there was fruit coming from the Florida Outpouring meetings early on. It was reported by MSNBC that during the first month, as the meetings began to grow in size, they were temporarily moved to Joker Marchant Stadium, where the Detroit Tigers play spring training baseball. There was a concern that there might be damage to the carefully prepared field in light of the crowds of people. However, according to Lakeland park department official Bob Donahay, “Organizers and revival-goers alike treated the facility with great respect and stayed off the grass. We didnt know what to expect,” he said. “But they were model tenants.”
The report went on to say: “Friday nights big crowd left a large amount of trash, as is typical for a big event. Parks officials provided trash bags to the organizers for Saturday and Sunday, and the revival attendees cleaned up the vast amount of their trash each night. And, according to Donahay, “Theyre a really, really nice group of people.”
In addition, one person interviewed by MSNBC—who obviously did not condone the meetings—had to agree that they were actually helping the area financially. “Its helping our economy,” he said. “People got to eat; they got to stay in hotels. And Im picking up a lot more hours, even though were coming into the slow season. So maybe hes bringing some healing to this area after all.”

Ok so my girlfriend and i broke up about 6 weeks ago and, it was a pretty bad time. At the time i still lived there so it was a little uncomfortable. We fought alot toward the end of our relationship because i just couldnt trust her anymore. So we ended it but i wasnt over her yet but she goes out and bangs some other dude. Now i dont know if i was still living there at the time or what but, we were still banging too. It was a strange time for everyone. But ever since the break up we hang out and do stuff together like the movies, dinner, walks you know all that crap you do when your in a relationship. She even calls me when she has good news, bad news any news actually. I went to her house for mothers day. All this stuff is confusing the hell outta me. My question is does it sound like she still loves me or is just using me?

Its supposed to be an environmetal site made for kids where they can take a test that actually tells them when they “should die” based on how they live! After they take the survey, a pig explodes with blood and theres a message saying, “You should die at age ___.”

Note: I took the test myself and it says I should die at 33! And I dont consume a lot at all.

Basically, you all can say anything now–since the site wont open. The truth is most people “should die” at a very young age according to the calculator. How convenient that is doesnt work so everyone else can take the test and see.
Accoring to others who took the test, they were only able to live longer if they answer that, like Al Gore, they are invested in carbon credit programs.
And the “average” answers are surprisingly pretty conservative consumption wise! That means the average person is already pretty modest when it comes to energy consumption. Which just confirmed what I thought–that we the “little people” are not the problem!
The worst part of the test is that you can consume a LOT like Al Gore or any big polluting CEO and “live forever” as long as you have a lot invested in companies or projects that are supposedly dedicated to producing greener products! Which means that the wealthy like Exxon CEOs deserve to live longer simply because they can afford to invest millions (or get them through government hand outs) into questionable ethanol and alternative fuel programs (some that are alredy used and which leak into the water supply causes cancer). The rest who cant afford–I guess were not worthy at have to die young or ASAP. : (

what the heck will we do to stop our own american corporations that should care about us, yes, we, the citizens of our own country, being able to buy their products at their high prices outsourcing labor? if you cannot work in your own nations companies at jobs that they pay you a living wage so that you can buy their overpriced goods, what can you do? open this news link of 5.27.08 to see what im talking about:

i am asking this and i hope i do not offend anyone. i have just had bad news concerning my father. he has only a short time to live, he is brain damged from an accident 5.5yrs ago and he now he has severe scepticemia, and it is only a matter of time…..maybe days, maybe weeks, just been told to prepare for the worst……………..
i know that i will have to conduct a funeral for my dad and before the inevitable happens i am looking at music……..
